If it's like every other summer, plenty of people will be coming.  Including my own family, my snowbird Mother will be home in about a week, my assorted kids will hopefully find their way here this summer.  Since the three daughters have all moved to warmer climates, they don't like coming back to visit in the winter.  They grew up in this 160 year old, cold house, but it's "no thanks" to winter visits!

We love the summers just as much as the visitors, it's our reward for the long winter.  Of course we spend a good part of it getting ready for the next winter, spitting and putting in nine cord of wood.  But we manage to hit some of the best spots, including a few picnics at everyone's favorite, Lily Bay State Park.

Moosehead Marketplace is stocked and ready to go, and since we're an online store, you can visit us 24/7.  Occasionally people stop in, looking confused (why is there no sign? they ask).  And I explain that my goal was to get local products "out of town" year round, but not to compete with the local gift shops by having a retail space.  If, however, you would like to pick something up, instead of paying shipping, you can still order it online, and give me a call about pick up, 207.280.0817.
