This full grain buffalo leather bag is a work of art. R & S Leatherwork's bags are names for local rivers and streams. This one is named for the Allagash, one of Maine's wildest rivers. But with the tiny town of Allagash on it's banks.
The bag is 8 inches across at the bottom, 10 across at the top. It is 10 inches deep, and 3 inches wide. The cross body strap is 45 inches. The hardwear is all American made, as is the leather and thread for the hand stitching. There is a phone pocket inside, 6 by 6 inches. The skeleton key is authentic.
Roman and Sharon are a husband and wife team from Bucksport, Maine. Ramon works full time in commercial construction, and he and Sharon spend last summer in Greenville with his work. Sharon is in elementary special education. They started crafting leather as a hobby a few years ago. They strive to make a handmade product that is strong, useful and will last for years to come. Their work is unusual in that it is all hand stitched. They use naturally unlined leather sourced in the US, and tanned in Maine. The leather is full grain, the top most layer known for it's durability. The leather weights range from 4.5 to 6 ounce. The thread is from Maine Threads.
