One of a kind, a work of art, but I'm hoping it will find it's way to the front of a bicycle.  Very sturdy, lined with fabric, with a solid wood base, 5 by 12 inches.  A fun design, bright colors and ready to ride!

Pat Huckins is based in Greenville, on Prong Pond, and has been weaving baskets for many years.  She learned to weave at a class in Hallowell and has enjoyed it ever since.  She has taught many classes in the past and her favorite student and fellow weaver is her nephew Levi.  Levi is a bright young man with Autism, though he does not let Autism define him.  He loves to travel, surf, down hill ski, swim, and compete in Special Olympics.  Levi and his Aunt Pat have started a new venture selling their baskets on Moosehead Marketplace.  They hope you enjoy the baskets as much as they enjoy making them.

    Basket

Posted by Rebekah on Sep 24th 2021

I bought the paper plate holder and napkin holder. They are both well made, beautiful, functional, and just what I was looking for. I bought them for my cabin, to use outdoors, and to prevent them from scattering and blowing away. Still happy with the purchase. And as always Janet at Moosehead Marketplace is a joy to work with. I can recommend both the baskets and the business.

    Beautifully Crafted Basket

Posted by Mary Ashe on Jun 22nd 2021

I'm impressed. This intricately woven sturdy basket sports a round wooden bottom, a beautifully crafted wood handle that sits on wooden pegs. My paper plates aren’t going anywhere even in a strong wind! I love it!
