One of my earliest memories was riding to Kokadjo and seeing that sign that said (gasp!): "Hell". That was probably 55 years ago. I don't know when it was put up, by I do know there was a large forest fire in the area when my Uncle Jim, now 85, was a teen and helped fight it, up on Whitecap Mountain. You can still see the outline of the fire, where it regrew.
This replica is decoupage and and painted, 5 1/2 by 9 inches. It will stand by itself on a shelf or windowsill, but also has a hanger. A great memory from the Moosehead region.
