This is the second in our series of local puzzles. 1000 pieces, the Kate, as the ship is known locally, is a big part of our local history. Many who grew up in the area either swam off it years ago when it was anchored, or worked on it when it was Scott Paper's work horse, pulling booms of pulp down the lake. Now the Katahdin is used for excursions up Moosehead Lake. The photo was taken in September, 2019 as she returns to her East Cove berth.
The finished puzzle is 20 by 28, suitable for gluing and framing.
