    Chief Henry Red Eagle

This is a most excellent read. I received book as gift. Very interesting. My family knew Ma Eagle when she ran a swim therapy camp at Spencer Lake before coming to Greenville and Sugar Island. I liked that pictures of her were rare, as I have one not seen in book. This man led a remarkable life. The author has written a very interesting tribute. A must buy for anyone interested in Maine at all.

Like all of Everett Parker's books, this is well researched with lots of photos. Chief Henry Red Eagle is a local legend. This book brings that legend to life, with glimpses into local history from an often overlooked perspective. Every home should have this in their library.
